Chronic Low Back Pain

Sex : Male
Age : 48 years

Due to his highly active lifestyle, he developed a herniated disc at L5-S1. Pain was present for 18 months with radiation down the left leg to the bottom of his foot. The patient tried various forms of physiotherapy to no avail. The Orthopeadic Surgeon suggested surgery. LightStream Laser Solution was his last chance. Patient had herniated discs at L2-3, L4-5 and L5-S1, for 5 years. Orthopeadic Surgeon was reluctant to do surgery due to his heart condition. Patient presented with osteoarthritis and a herniated disc at L5-S1. There was atrophy of the left gastros muscle and foot drop. Patient was on LTD for 6 months and did not want to have surgery.
